FAMILY ALLOY DESCRIPTION
Manganese Bronze C67300 Silicon Maganese bronze typically has good bearing qualities. This makes it high impact resistant with excellent machinability.
C86300 Manganese Bronze Manganese Bronze is a tough, corrosion resistant alloy with outstanding wear characteristics. Ideal for high load, low speed applications including gears, bushings, cams and hydraulic cylinder parts.

C67300 This is a high strength leaded silicon manganese bronze with typically good bearing qualities. This alloy maintains high impact resistance with excellent machinability making it well suited for clutch bearings, shaft bushings, sleeve bearings, thrust bearings, pump parts, drive shafts, bearing pins, wear plates, gears and cams. Resists squashing out under high loads and extreme wear applications.

C86300 Tough and corrosion resistant, C86300 (SAE 430B) Manganese Bronze is ideal for high load, low speed applications that require a combination of outstanding wear characteristics and high bearing strength. Despite its strength characteristics, however, this manganese bronze alloy is not heat-treatable, needs reliable lubrication and should be used in conjunction with hardened shafts. The lead in the alloy's makeup improves machinability without materially affecting its mechanical properties.
